MacDonald House Museum is operated by the Lake Ainslie Historical Society

We have a growing collection of books and records pertaining to families and history of the local area. Visitors are welcome to use our resources with the assistance of staff or a Society member.  You may see eagles and children are very welcome.

We are open Tuesday to Sunday 10am to 5pm in the summer months or by appointment.

Follow the blue key signs which designate museums in Nova Scotia. We feature a large parking lot and turning area to accommodate motor homes or buses.

Adults: $5.00    Family (Parents and school age children): $10.00
