Lake Ainslie Historical Society:


The objectives of the Society are

     
  1. to preserve the local history and customs of the pioneers
  2. to collect and display artifacts in connection with local history
  3. to share information among members and the general public
  4. to support research and increase members' knowledge, as well as that of the general public, toward local history
  5. to enhance the image of the LAHS through general awareness via membership, interested persons and the general public
  6. to perserve the authenticity of the artifacts and buildings on the site
  7. to buy, own, hold, lease. mortgage, sell and convey such real property as may be necessary in carrying out the goals and objectives of the Society, provided that nothing herein contained shall permit the Society to carry on trade, industry, or business and the Society shall be carried on without purpose to gain for any of the members, and that any supluses or accretions of the Society shall be used for the purpose of the Society and the promotions of its goals and objectives.
